Back in 2011, Tom Lemery, a P. A. announcer in Morrisville, New York wrote this poem about being a P. A. announcer and it was posted on the original SportsAnnoucing.com blog, that very few people saw.  In going back through the old posts on the site, saw it, and decided we needed to republish it.
