Max Garner, who spent 37 seasons as Public Address announcer for Lincolnton High School in western North Carolina passed away on Thursday at the age of 76. He had been announcing all the way up to his passing, serving as the school’s baseball and football voice all the way up through last season. Lincoln Times-News:
