In a press release posted on their web site on Tuesday, the New Jersey Jackals of the independent Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball announced the retirement of their original P. A. Announcer George Ruthauser.  The team, who plays in Yogi Berra Stadium, made the announcement just hours before the passing of the stadium’s namesake. Jackals.com:
