Scott Moak is the P. A. announcer for the Sacramento Kings and came into the job ready to fill some pretty hefty shoes.  He started out doing high school and college games before the Kings position came open when Fred Anderson left the job.

He tried out, got to announce half of a preseason game which was judged, and he didn’t get it.  But that didn’t let this former Kings season ticket holder and long-time fan stop pursuing his dream.  In 2002, they asked him to come back to try again and he’s been the voice of Arco/Sleep Train Arena in California’s capitol city.

Moak is also the Vice President of Community Impact and Executive Director of the Sacramento Kings Foundation, a position he gained in January 2014 (from NBA.com).
