The Kannapolis Intimidators of the South Atlantic League are looking for a broadcast/media relations assistant. Since this job may also entail serving as P. A. announcer for some games, we figured we’d post it on here.
The candidate will serve as the radio voice of all Friday and Saturday home games, along with select road games. Most likely road trips to nearby stadiums like Hickory, Asheville and Greensboro, however that’s not confirmed. If it isn’t those stadiums, they are close enough to Kannapolis that you could drive to those stadiums just to check out the stadiums which are all pretty nice. Plus, Asheville was featured in the movie Bull Durham.
This is a position for someone just starting out as the pay is listed as a minimum of $50/game. This job is more aimed at those around Kannapolis/Charlotte than someone looking to relocate as you would need to find additional work for non-game days, but would be getting some pretty good experience working in Minor League Baseball.
