Web Maddox has been announcing sports at Huntingdon High School football for 25 years, but it was a story in The Jackson Sun about his longevity in his other career that brought this to our attention.

Maddox has selling insurance in this Tennessee community for 40 years, working for an agency which was started by his grandmother.  It was a chance meeting at a convenience store 15 years later that included Mike Mansfield.  Mansfield, and an assistant, began talking to Maddox about announcing home games.
