Wow, just wow. Words to explain what I was feeling Sunday night while watching ESPN E:60 on my phone and seeing myself with CoCo the Hershey Bears mascot I was in shock. Tears falling down my cheeks with emotion. So much has gone on in the last year that’s been negative in my personal life
Wow, just wow. Words to explain what I was feeling Sunday night while watching ESPN E:60 on my phone and seeing myself with CoCo the Hershey Bears mascot I was in shock. Tears falling down my cheeks with emotion. So much has gone on in the last year that’s been negative in my personal life that this was a huge positive, a huge win.
ESPN came out to do a story on Gabby Kerchner, the young lady behind Gabby’s Acts of Kindness and who gathered over 10,000 stuffed animals for the Hershey Bears Teddy Bear Toss last December that led to a world record.
She’s inspired my kids to do the same and we’ve embarked on that effort. We’re excited to follow her lead.
In my life, I never would have thought I’d be announcing for the Hershey Bears, nor making a speaking moment on ESPN because of such. Yes, ESPN. Holy cow. I’m honored, humbled, and energized to gather stuffed animals because of Gabby. She’s a wonderful young lady who does a lot of great things.
