Prolific Announcer Hangs Up Microphone After 2,000 Games Over 35 Years
Main also spent time in NCAA Bowl games, San Diego Sockers in the late 90’s, San Diego Gulls, San Diego Chargers, along with roller hockey, women’s soccer and brief stints with four NHL teams including both of Southern California’s teams the L. A. Kings and the Anaheim Ducks.
“He also voices commercials for national iHeart clients. And he’s in his 22nd year of co-hosting the syndicated “Garden America” show, airing live from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Pacific time, on 50 U.S. radio stations, including KNSN 1240-AM in San Diego.”
