The Edmonton Oilers are steeped in tradition and with the opening of a new area, a new tradition starts as Scott Bourgeois is the new voice of the Oilers.  He replaces Mark Lewis who stepped down with the closing of Rexall Place.

The news came in the form of a brief note at the end of a game story from the pre-season without much fanfare from the organization.  The original job posting on our website hit record numbers for a job opening.  Congratulations to Scott Bourgeois and good luck this season.  Welcome to the NHL!
