Bill Walker is the voice of Huntington University men’s basketball and behind that voice, away from the court, he’s presiding over the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Indiana has long been a basketball hotbed, and high school basketball is to Indiana what high school football is to Texas or Ohio, or hockey is to Minnesota or Massachusetts. Over the years Walker followed high school basketball and in 2010 was asked by a former colleague about becoming an associate director for the Hall of Fame.
It was Walker’s passion that Bob Straight saw and spurred the idea that Walker accepted. His work at the Hall has not gone unnoticed as he’s in line to become a member of the executive committee.
