About
August McAdoo | Public Address Announcer My name is August McAdoo, and I’m a professional public address announcer with a lifelong passion for sports, broadcasting, music, and live entertainment. I currently serve as the official public address announcer for the Long Beach Coast of the Pioneer League, where I bring energy, professionalism, and excitement to the ballpark while helping create memorable experiences for players and fans alike. I hold an Associate of Science degree in Broadcast Programming and Production and a Certificate of Achievement in Digital Marketing from Santa Monica College. My background in broadcasting and nearly two decades of experience in church music ministry have helped shape my delivery, timing, and ability to connect with live audiences. For me, announcing is more than just speaking into a microphone. It’s about setting the atmosphere, engaging the crowd, and making every moment count. My goal is to continue growing as an announcer, expanding into new sports and venues, and bringing my voice and passion to audiences across the country.
