Before the NHL season began, news out of South Florida had a P. A. announcer opening for the Florida Panthers. After the process, which was covered by the team and posted here on SportsAnnouncing.com, they narrowed down their choices and tabbed Andrew Imber to be the new voice of the team.
Imber had hockey experience, as the voice of the club team at Florida Atlantic University where he not only served as the P. A. announcer, but also the team’s broadcaster. That’s not easy to do.
