Dan Baker is known to many Philadelphians as the current voice of the Philadelphia Phillies and former voice of the Philadelphia Eagles.  Well, now Baker is returning as the voice of the Eagles, just not at their home stadium Lincoln Financial Field.

Baker will be the voice of the team, making the same announcements as he did when he was behind the mic at The Linc or Veterans Stadium, but will be doing it at Xfinity Live!, an entertainment complex known as Philadelphia’s “fourth stadium”.

“We’ll be recreating that wonderful in-stadium atmosphere at Xfinity Live,” Baker said. “I’ll be making some of the same announcements that I used to make at Veteran’s Stadium and then Lincoln Financial Field.”

With the increase of viewing parties by sports teams over the last few years, this is the kind of thing that’s taking fan experience to a new level and thinking outside of the box…or stadium.
